Jurassic Park: Search for Carter (1997)

So I took Little P to see Jurassic Park in 3D IMAX last week, not knowing if I was going to traumatize him or not. When it came out 20 years ago, my little brother, RamJoe, was only eight and a half years old. Little P is almost eight. Needless to say, we both loved it. He's become obsessed with it this month. In fact, he made grampa take him to see it for a second week in a row today. I figured now would be a good time to post the first movie made with my then, brand-new Sony Handicam. I was a senior in high school and I had just saved up enough money to buy my own video camera from Circuit City. My favorite features were the variety of built-in effects and most importantly, the 16:9 "letterbox" black bars. After seeing the "Lost World: Jurassic Park", my bro and I wandered into the woods to play with some forced perspective with the new camera. We used what we had on hand and just kind of improvised the thing. Nothing in this movie makes particular sense, but in retrospect, that's what makes in kind of fun.
