In case you missed it, this year I transferred to a school closer to my house. My commute is only five minutes. I filled my gas tank on Tuesday, August 20 (the second day of school.) I was eager to see how far it would stretch. My wife thought she'd do me a favor when she filled it a week and a half later (Friday, Sept. 6) I'm pleased to announce that I've JUST refilled my gas tank THREE WEEKS LATER. On top of the great children and families, AWESOME classroom, and super-short commute, this transfer is my best career move to date. The only way I'd have a shorter drive is if/when I work from home!

Looks like I got some exercise today. I HATE exercise.

Fifteen Years Ago

We started making this at our "new" movie theater in the fall of 1997. The camera kept flickering and needed to be repaired at Circuit City more times than I care to remember. We finished it the following summer and actually screened it at DragonCon'98. This was the first time I experienced screening with a audience full of strangers. They "boooed" a fan film (The Q-files) to death (ala Gong Show) which they didn't do to this movie. Agent 0071 himself was in attendance and could NOT believe an audience could be so cruel. He hid his face in his baseball cap. Good memories.
